The Seacoast Invitational

Some traditions have to begin before they can become traditions.

The Seacoast Invitational is just that.

Held at Pease Golf Course in picturesque Portsmouth, one of New Hampshire's oldest and most storied public courses, the Seacoast Invitational is a one-day golf fundraiser rooted in the same values this region has always run on.

Straightforward. Unpretentious. Community first. No rubber chicken dinners, no ballrooms, no velvet ropes. Just eighteen holes, good company, and an afternoon on the most historic fairways on the NH seacoast.

The Seacoast Invitational
Monday, June 1st, 2026
Registration at 7:30am | Shotgun Start at 9:00am
Pease Golf Course | 200 Grafton Road, Portsmouth, NH 03842

Your registration covers 18 holes, cart, and a full day of reasons to stay out of the office.

On-course contests include longest drive and closest to the pin — settle old scores, make new ones. Food runs all day, because nobody plays their best golf hungry. Stick around for the awards reception to close it out right.

Throughout the day you'll also find live auctions, raffles, and — courtesy of our friends at Building Bridges Veterans Initiative — an inflatable dart board contest raising funds for veteran lunch events in our community. Come for the golf, stay for the rest of it.

This event is a campaign fundraiser for Nicholas Bridle for NH State Representative.
Pricing was set deliberately. This event belongs to the seacoast, not just the people who can afford a fundraiser.
Player Registration: $150 per player · $600 per foursome

Sponsorships are available for those who want a presence on the day.

Pease Golf Course — Portsmouth, NH

Established in 1901 on land purchased from a local dairy farm, Pease Golf Course is the oldest and most storied public course on the NH seacoast. What began as Portsmouth Country Club has outlasted wars, weathered changing hands, and earned its reputation the old-fashioned way — quietly, over time, without needing to announce itself. Old money never came here. Old values always did. Storied, unhurried, and unapologetically New England — where the conversations on the course have always been as straightforward as the people having them. Twenty-seven holes — and in this part of New Hampshire, who you walk the course with matters.

The 2026 Seacoast Invitational Hole 1 — The 157th

Pease Golf Course (White Course - Hole 1) | Par 5 | 465 yards

Every round at The Seacoast Invitational starts here — and this hole is named for the people who call Pease home.

The 157th Air Refueling Wing of the New Hampshire Air National Guard has been flying out of Pease for decades. Known as the Pistoneers, they keep aircraft in the fight from right here on the Seacoast. We're playing on their turf on June 1st, and we don't take that lightly.

The hole itself is a par 5 you can reach in two with a big drive. Lay up and you've got a short wedge to a narrow, right-sloping green. Miss right and your day starts the hard way.

The 2026 Seacoast Invitational Hole 2 — Shipyard

Pease Golf Course (White Course - Hole 2) | Par 5 | 471 yards

The Shipyard has been part of Portsmouth's identity since before the country was a country. It's where warships were built, where sailors shipped out, and where the Seacoast earned its place in American history. This hole carries that name with good reason — it rewards patience, craftsmanship, and knowing your tools.

A long iron or 3-wood off the tee sets you up perfectly on this dogleg left. Lay up with a mid iron, then bring a high, soft approach — the green doesn't hold just anything you throw at it.

Brute force won't get you here. Work the hole.

The 2026 Seacoast Invitational Hole 3 — Puddledock

Pease Golf Course (White Course - Hole 3) | Par 3 | 160 yards

Puddledock is one of Portsmouth's oldest neighborhoods — understated, easy to overlook, and more than it appears.

Same goes for this hole.

It plays shorter than it looks, and the ground is soft in front of the green — so the instinct is to go easy. Don't. There's water in play and the green sits up on a diagonal. Come up short and you're in trouble. Take enough club, commit to the shot, and trust your read.

The easiest par 3 on the card. Until it isn't.

The 2026 Seacoast Invitational Hole 4 — Whaling Wall

Pease Golf Course (White Course - Hole 4) | Par 4 | 280 yards

If you grew up on the Seacoast, you knew the Whaling Wall. Three humpbacks, a school of dolphins, and a wall of tuna covering the entire side of a building in downtown Portsmouth. For nearly 30 years it was how people gave directions, found parking, and remembered this city. It came down in 2021. A lot of people are still not over it. This hole is named in its memory.

Short par 4 — but accuracy off the tee is everything. A long iron to the end of the fairway leaves you a clean 100 to 110 yards in. Miss it and the hole gets complicated fast.

Just like losing a landmark. You don't realize how much it mattered until it's gone.

The 2026 Seacoast Invitational Hole 5 — Lobster Trap

Pease Golf Course (White Course - Hole 5) | Par 4 | 375 yards

Anyone who's spent time on the Seacoast knows the lobster trap. Stacked on docks, piled on the backs of boats, tangled in the marsh grass at low tide. They're everywhere — and the whole point is that once you're in, getting out isn't easy.

This hole will trap you if you're not paying attention.

There's a large pond running down the entire right side. Go right and you're in it. Stay left off the tee and you set yourself up — because the green slopes hard to the left, and your approach needs to be coming in from that side to hold it.

Left is safe. Right is a trap.

The 2026 Seacoast Invitational Hole 6 — Coastie

Pease Golf Course (White Course - Hole 6) | Par 4 | 308 yards

On the Seacoast, the Coast Guard isn't background noise — they're neighbors. Station Portsmouth has been working these waters for generations, running search and rescue out of the harbor in conditions most people wouldn't go near. They don't make a lot of noise about it. They just show up.

This hole has that same no-nonsense character. Short par 4. Hit it about 220 off the tee and you're left with a simple short iron in. The catch — the green is well guarded.

Getting on is easy. Staying on is the job. Do your job. Make the par.

The 2026 Seacoast Invitational Hole 7 — Odiorne

Pease Golf Course (White Course - Hole 7) | Par 4 | 356 yards

Odiorne Point is the oldest continuously documented European settlement site in New Hampshire — a place where the land meets the ocean and the history runs deep beneath your feet. It's a state park now, wild and quiet, with tide pools, rocky shoreline, and a World War II bunker still sitting in the trees. Beautiful. But unforgiving if you wander off the path.

This hole is the same way.

You need to thread your tee shot between the bull pine and the fairway bunker on the right. Find that window and you've got a manageable approach. Miss it either way and you're dealing with a green that's genuinely hard to hit.

The path is there. Find it.

The 2026 Seacoast Invitational Hole 8 — Yoken's

Pease Golf Course (White Course - Hole | Par 4 | 265 yards

Thar she blows.

If you drove Route 1 in Portsmouth, you knew that sign. Yoken's was an institution — the gift shop, the treasure chest, the Whaler Room, the broiled haddock. Generations of Seacoast families ate there. The restaurant is gone, but the neon sign was restored and still stands at Yoken's Common. Some things are too good to let disappear.

This hole has water running the entire left side — stay right off

the tee and you keep it dry. Do that and you're looking at a short iron into the biggest green on the course. The catch — it slopes back to front, so your approach needs to be dialed in.

Miss left and, well... thar she blows.

Green Sponsor: Molly’s

The 2026 Seacoast Invitational Hole 9 — Albacore

Pease Golf Course (White Course - Hole 9) | Par 3 | 150 yards

The USS Albacore — hull number 569 — sits in Portsmouth as a National Historic Landmark and a reminder of what this region has always built and sent to sea. She was a research submarine, ahead of her time, and she never fired a shot in combat. Her whole mission was to figure out how to go faster, quieter, deeper. Precision over brute force.

That's exactly what this hole asks of you.

Long uphill par 3 with a small green that slopes sharply. If the pin is in the back, stay below it — getting above the hole makes for a miserable putt. And before you pull a club, check the American flag for wind. It'll tell you everything.

Precision over brute force. The Albacore knew it. Now you do too.

The 2026 Seacoast Invitational Hole 10 — Winnacunnet

Pease Golf Course (Blue Course - Hole 1) | Par 4 | 361 yards

Before it was Hampton, it was Winnacunnet. The Algonquian name stuck around for a reason — "beautiful place in the pines." Hard to argue with.

This is the turn. Front nine is done. The Blue Course starts here and the legs are starting to feel it.

Long straight hole with three bunkers clustered tight around the green. You've got room off the tee — use it. But your approach needs to be precise. Those traps don't care how well your front nine went.

Stay sharp. You've got nine holes left.

The 2026 Seacoast Invitational Hole 11 — Clam Flats

Pease Golf Course (Blue Course - Hole 2) | Par 5 | 495 yards

Long. Flat. Wide open.

Just like the flats.

At 495 yards this is the longest hole on the back nine. There's nowhere to hide and no shortcut to the green. You put your head down and you work your way through it — one shot at a time.

The Seabrook clam flats have fed this coast for centuries. This hole will test your patience the same way.

The 2026 Seacoast Invitational Hole 12 — Saltmarsh

Pease Golf Course (Blue Course - Hole 3) | Par 3 | 128 yards

The saltmarsh doesn't move for you. It just sits there — reeds, mud, water — and dares you to find a way through.

This hole is the same. Reeds between you and the green mean one thing: get it up, get it over, and put it down soft. There's no running it in. No playing around it. A lofted, precise shot or you're dropping.

Short par 3. Big consequences. Respect the marsh.

The 2026 Seacoast Invitational Hole 13 — Fox Run

Pease Golf Course (Blue Course - Hole 4) | Par 4 | 324 yards

Fox Run Mall opened in 1983. It closed January 31, 2026. By the time we tee off on June 1st, it'll be a demolition site.

Spencer's. Orange Julius. The Disney Store. Sam Goody. Gloria Jean's. A lot of Seacoast people grew up in those corridors — first jobs, school shopping, wandering around on a rainy Saturday with nowhere better to be. It wasn't glamorous. But it was ours.

This hole sweeps around just like a mall loop — long, curving, and it brings you right back to where you need to be. Par 4 with a tight green tucked at the top. Work the bend, don't overshoot, and finish clean.

One last lap for Fox Run.

The 2026 Seacoast Invitational Hole 14 — Brick Market

Pease Golf Course (Blue Course - Hole 5) | Par 4 | 385 yards

The Brick Market in downtown Portsmouth is old bones and new thinking — 18th century architecture on the outside, mass timber and solar on the inside. Maritime heritage meets modern craft. It doesn't announce itself. It just holds up.

This hole plays the same way.

Long, narrow par 4 that demands a straight tee shot and a disciplined approach. The fairway gives you just enough room before it tightens toward a bunkered green. There's no power move here — just clean execution from tee to pin.

Old school discipline. Modern precision.

The 2026 Seacoast Invitational Hole 15 — Jetty

Pease Golf Course (Blue Course - Hole 6) | Par 4 | 355 yards

The jetty at Hampton Beach stretches out into the ocean and stops right where the calmer water meets the open Atlantic. You're either on solid ground or you're not. There's no in between.

This hole gives you that same moment.

Sweeping dogleg that sets you up beautifully — until the very end. There's a touch of water between the fairway and the green. It's not much. But it's enough. Commit to the approach, take the right club, and carry it clean.

Lay up and you're safe. Go for it and you either make the shot or you're wet.

The jetty doesn't flinch. Neither should you.

The 2026 Seacoast Invitational Hole 16 — Appledore

Pease Golf Course (Blue Course - Hole 7) | Par 3 | 158 yards

Appledore has been a waypoint for mariners, fishermen, and pirates for four hundred years. The Isles of Shoals were one of the most productive fishing grounds in the New World — so good that settlers were out there before most of the mainland had been touched. Appledore was the center of it all. Remote, windswept, and completely self-sufficient.

Getting there always required precision. So does this hole.

Par 3 with a bunker dead center in your approach. One good line. Commit to it.

Four hundred years of mariners found their way to Appledore. Find yours.

The 2026 Seacoast Invitational Hole 17 — Channel Marker

Pease Golf Course (Blue Course - Hole | Par 4 | 324 yards

Channel markers don't suggest. They tell you exactly where to go — and what happens if you don't listen is on you.

This hole is straightforward off the tee. But the green is surrounded by bunkers and there's only one clean way in. Miss the line and you're in the sand, one hole from the finish, wishing you'd paid attention.

Read the marker. Hit the line. One hole left after this. Don't blow it now.

The 2026 Seacoast Invitational Hole 18 — Piscataqua

Pease Golf Course (Blue Course - Hole 9) | Par 5 | 474 yards

The Piscataqua River moves faster than almost any navigable river on the East Coast. The current is so powerful it kept Portsmouth harbor ice-free through winter for centuries — which is exactly why the Shipyard was built there, why trade ran through here, and why this corner of New Hampshire punched so far above its weight for so long.

It doesn't wait for you. It just moves.

This is your closing hole. Par 5, 474 yards, two bunkers in the fairway and a tight green waiting at the end. There's no shortcut, no bail out. You finish the way you played.

The river doesn't care how your round went. Neither does 18. Go finish it.
